Blaker

So, Blake is trying to walk. He walks along all of the furniture and anything else he can hold onto. However, he is quite wobbly. Yesterday before church he tripped and fell headfirst into the end table. The result is this beautiful, vertical bruise on the left side of his forehead. He is a tough little guy. After all, he puts up with Sara. I really can't wait until he can hit her back.

Bean Museum

Today we went on a family outting to the Bean Museum at BYU. Sara loved all of the animals. However, she would not pose long enough to get a good picture in front of any of them. She has to be moving constantly! Imagine that, she's two!

She loved the crocodile.

Can you tell that she is roaring?

Birdie

Sara petting Birdie

For the last 3 days Sara has had an imaginary pet Birdie. Sara loves to carry her around in her hands cupped together and to pet her. Occasionally Sara will ask Bryan or I to hold Birdie for her so that she can do something else. She is so funny and has quite the imagination. I wonder how long this will last.

Happy Easter

This year the Easter Bunny came while we were at church. So, when we got home the kids dug into their baskets, had lunch and took naps. We had lots of fun. By Sunday, Sara was tired of the egg hunting and went straight for her basket. We ended up having to retrieve the candy filled eggs. This is the bracelet that I made to go with Sara's dress. It turned out so cute that I just had to show it off.

Easter Picnic

Blake took a nap in Aunt Kiki's arms. Notice that he has an egg in each hand.

As we were loading up to go home, Bryan let Blake pretend to drive. He absolutely loved the steering wheel!

The Grand Canyon

We stopped at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on our way back home.
I'm not sure why no one else is smiling.

There is a watch tower at the East Enterance. Bryan told Sara that it was a castle.

Sara: I to go the castle to get married and dance in my white dress?

Bryan: Yes. Who are you going to marry?

Sara: My dada, the handsome prince.

When they got to the top of the tower, she made him sing "I know you I walked with you once upon a dream," as they danced. He said that there were 20-30 other people up there and they probably thought he was crazy.

Still in Phoenix

Here are our designer bags from Mexico.
Guess which one is mine?
Ellie's favorite movie is Sleeping Beauty. Our little princesses sang, "I know you..." constantly during our visit.
Our pretty ballerinas love to dance. Unfortunately, Sara is pretty bossy in this relationship. She keeps pulling Ellie around by the hand and calling her "child."
When she makes Ellie cry, she responds, "It's okay child."
While they were dancing, we had to tell Sara to put her arms in the air like a ballerina so that she would keep her hands to herself.
She replied, "But I need to hold Ellie's hand."
We grilled hot dogs at the park for dinner.
The girls played soccer while waiting for the food.
Who loves cookies?

Sara was having so much fun playing that she waited too long to go potty.

Day 1 Rocky Point

Blake's first time in the ocean
Blake was not really sure what to think about the water.
Sara was drinking the water out of a shell and Blake kept trying to eat the sand.
Blake loved playing in the sand.
Sara wanted us to burry her legs after we did Blake's.
Even though she tortures him, he loves her so much.
Sara and Ellie were cold, so they snuggled up under the towel .Sara loved the sand so much. The minute we stepped foot in the sand, she would sit down and start playing. She even laid down to make snow angels in the sand. Look at all of the sand in her hair. She had showered and we were ready for dinner.
Our attempt at a family picture. Sara was pretty ticked off.We love vacationing with the Christensens. Sara has come to know them as Aunt Sarah, Uncle Cody, and her BFF Ellie.
