"I'm a Beekeeper!"

It is once again Bee Season. Blake wanted to help his dad, so we suited him up.

This kid is fearless when it comes to bees!

Stoned?

Blake and Sara were playing in Blake's room with the farm and all of the animals. I went into the room to put away some laundry and enjoyed listening to them getting along so well. That is until I heard what they were saying.

"Now you are stoned," said Sara referring to Blake's animal.

"Sara, what's wrong with Blake's animal?"

"He is stoned," replied Sara.

"Yeah, he is stoned," piped in Blake.

"Sara, what does it mean to be stoned?"

"You know Mom, stoned."

"Do you mean when someone throws stones at them?"

"No, it's when you stop all over," she responded. "You know, like in Barbie and The Diamond Castle when Melody's friends and their horses are stoned."

"Oh," I say very relieved. "You mean turned to stone."

"Yeah, Mom, turned to stone."

I'm glad we cleared up that one.

Easter

The big hit was the squirt guns.

We can't wait until it is warm enough outside to use them.

Easter Picnic

The weather was suppose to be cold and rainy, so we used the Education Center at the AF Hospital to have our picnic. We ate inside and had our egg hunt outside behind the building.

After all was said and done I noticed something funny about Blake's loot. He did not have one pink, purple, or flowery egg in his basket. When I asked him about it he said that he didn't like "girl colors."

Sara quickly discovered that some eggs had balls inside. She would shake them to determine if it was a ball or candy. Here she is victoriously showing off her find of an egg with a ball.

Of course, the real excitement came when Bryan found a garter snake.

Blake had to take a turn holding it.

Sara got brave and pet the snake.

Bryan wouldn't be the amazing brother that he is if he didn't take advantage of an opportunity to torture his sister, Jamie.

Where Are They?

Yes, they are in their tents and they are both asleep. They slept here all night and no one sneaked into our bed. It was wonderful!
