Haircut?

Bryan took Blake to the cabin for a sleepover, hence the camo shirt. Before they left I was noticing how long his hair is. I think it's time to call Aunt Jamie.Sara wanted her picture taken as well. I told her that her ugly, cheesy smile made her squint so that I couldn't see her beautiful eyes. When I told her I wanted her 'pretty smile' not her 'ugly smile' this is what I got:Psycho!

After naptime Sara did something to bug Mister Mister. He got 5" away from her face and demanded, "Don't do that!" I asked what was going on and did my best to help them settle the disagreement. Then I told them to say "I'm sorry" to give each other kisses. Seriously? Maybe she shouldn't watch princess movies.

Sara's Special Day

Blake went with Bryan and the guys to "work hard on cabin" so Sara got a day all to herself. We went to the park to play and take pics. She also got to get special treats at the store and was able to choose whatever she wanted for dinner. It was nice to have a girls' day.

The Canyon With the Christensens

The Christensens came into town for several weeks. We made an impromptu trip up the canyon. We kept it simple: roasted hot dogs and smores. However, we did use Reece's Cups instead of Hershey bars. The kids had so much fun just throwing rocks in the river and it was fun to catch up with our friends.

Blake spent 99% of the time throwing rocks in the river. I almost forgot that he was there. Okay, just kidding, we were constantly checking on him to make sure he hadn't made his way into the river. He would look for the largest rock he could heft and then throw it as far into the river as he could. He loves AF canyon must like his daddy.Sara saw the camera and just had to pose for a picture.

Our Superman

Here is Blake at his absolute happiest. He loves the cabin and he loves chips. After he sat down on this log in the kitchen he looked at Bryan and said, "Come sit with me, Dad. I have chips."
