Bipolar?

Hey Soul Sister

When we went to Chucky Cheese, Chucky and the band played Hey, Soul Sister. My kids loved it and every time we hear it on the radio Blake exclaims, "Chucky Cheese sings this song!"

Bryan learned it on the guitar and was playing it while the kids sang. Blake was playing along with his dad.
Is our house haunted? Can you see the ghost in the window?
Sara needed some camera time and started dancing.

Gracie Maycie

At our house we just can't get enough of Miss Gracie May. My kids get so excited when she comes over to visit. Unfortunately, Sara and Blake have no concept of personal space and Grace gets a little mauled.Do you see Gracie's face?
I love that my kids both have their eyes closed in this picture.

Our Day With Ellie

Ellie made a trip up to visit her grandparents while her mom was recovering from the birth of Baby Locklan. We were lucky enough to have her come to our house to play for a few hours.

We had a muffin tin lunch . . .
played with the toys . . .
and of course, rode in the tractor. At first Ellie was a little nervous.
However, it didn't take long for her to warm up. She even drove around the yard a time or two.
Thank you for coming to visit. We love you, Ellie Bonelli!

Zoo Trip

We finally figured out a day when Daddy could meet us at the zoo. The kids earned their money for this trip by selling eggs. Our first stop was the Carousel. Blake chose a tiger.Sara chose a panda.

They loved the rhinos but they really loved seeing Zuri the baby elephant.

Blake thought it was super cool that all of the drinking fountains made it look like the lion was going to bite his head off.

Look at those huge muscles!

The bird show was excellent! However, Sara refused to pose for pictures.

This picture says it all! We had a fun and exhausting day at the zoo. We didn't take a stroller. About 10 minutes into the drive home they both zonked out.

Stitches

Sunday after church Sara fell off of the deck and hit her head on the cement that borders the flower beds. She was trying to jump off of the deck onto the grass, but lost her footing due to the rollerskates she had put on over her sandals. Her feet went up and her head went down. There is a crack in the border close to where she fell. She enjoys telling everyone that her head cracked the border.
We went to the Instacare Clinic just around the corner. Luckily Aunt Jamie was working. Dr. Gilbert was very nice and stitched Sara up in no time.
She ended up with 4 stitches - 3 deep that will dissolve and 1 across the top layer of skin.

Sara's Dance Review

Sara has been taking Ballet since January. Tonight they had a dance review. The girls in her class are Evynn, Charlotte, Sara, Reiney, Kiana, Mariah, and Allie. We took some pictures before show time. Sara posed in every one.

Sara got to lead the beautiful butterflies.
Blake decided he needed some camera time.

Their end pose
They did so well. Great job, my beautiful ballerina!
When we got home I tried to get some pics of Sara outside, but she wasn't interested and Blake kept jumping into the pictures.
While I was attempting my photo shoot with Sara, Blake discovered the ladder in the window well. Like any good mom I made him get out and told him that he shouldn't play in it.
About two minutes later he was climbing down into the window well and he fell. He got a small bump on his head that was easily cured with his Cars ice pack. But it really scared him.
Is it terrible that I'm glad he fell? Hopefully he learned his lesson.
