Swinging with Bama and Papa

We took a picnic lunch to the park to let the kids play. The swings were the hit.

Catchin' Crawdads

While at the cabin over the 4th of July weekend Bryan, Dad and Todd made crawdad traps. They made 3 different designs and it became somewhat of a competition to see what trap caught the most. Needless to say, the kids had their own opinions about the creatures.

Blake loves live crawdads. He thinks they are cool.

Sara prefers her crawdads cooked and shelled by her daddy or grandpas.
We had a big Cajun crawdad bake and it was not bad. Much tastier than I expected.

This year Sara got to attend the Princess Festival.
