He's still not ready . . .

but he really wants to potty like a big boy.I heard some noise in my bathroom and went to investigate. Blake had taken off his pants, his diaper and was aiming.
If only the desire was enough!

Bees, Bees, Bees

Bryan spent all day Saturday hiving bees. He got the kids involved a little by showing them a drone. They are the males of the hive and have no stingers. Did you know that the bees that fly out to get the pollen are all female. Anyway, Blake absolutely loved the bees. In fact he let this one crawl all over his hand. When Bryan decided that Blake was done, Blake grabbed it back. I'm not sure that it is such a great idea to have my two-year-old fearless of bees.
I guess only time will tell.
*UPDATE - Blake got stung on 4/23. Naughty bee!
Sara was a little more hesitant.

Sara with a tight grip on her "beautiful sunflowers." Pick all of those you want sweetie. Just leave my tulips and hyacinths alone.

All Boy

Blake got to go to the cabin to work and sleepover with Dad and Grandpa Bear. He loved every minute of it. He told me that he was "workin' with Dad."

Dancing Through Life!

Tonight Cami, Crystal and I went to see Wicked. We had so much fun and absolutely loved it. In fact, I would go tomorrow night in a heartbeat. I saw quite a bit of the Spartin Cheerleaders and Mary Catherine Galligher in this Galinda's performance. She was hillarious. When we left I felt like I was "defying gravity." Thanks for a fun night girls!

Silly Sleepers

Lately Blake will sleep anywhere in his room except for his bed. He totes his pillow and two blankets along and makes a bed somewhere on the floor. Today I went to check on him during nap time and this is what I found.
During quiet time play in her room, Sara decided she needed a nap.
