Nap, Parade, and Snacks

The other day Sara insisted on taking her nap in our room. This is what I found when I came in to check on her.
Steel Days Parade
Cami and Rob were moving into the new house so I had Kate and Andie. Papa came to help.

Blake loved the music. He started dancing along with the band and tried to walk right out and join them.Kate was the best candy collector.

Andie was perfectly content to watch from her chair.

Blake clapped and danced.

Sara was a bit ornery (she is going through a whiny stage), she just tried to eat as much candy as she could before I made her put it in the bag.

I was folding laundry when Bryan called out for me to come see what Sara was doing. He was watching TV and she decided that she needed a bedtime snack. At least it was something healthy, rice.

Bye Bye Bama

We all got together for dinner the night before Mom left to go back to Indiana. The kids got really messy eating watermelon and popsicles, so we gave all the cousins a bath. This IU shirt is the best "non-girly" thing we could come up with for Blake, not easy since Cami only has girls. Andie was already in bed, but we attempted to get pics of Mom with the kids before she left. Uncharacteristically, my kids wouldn't cooperate. Kate, on the other hand, was just full of poses.

Kiddos

Sara mistook my cover-up for lip gloss.
Blake has discovered watermelon and loves it!

Watching the Grand Finale - she didn't like the loud noise

Foil Dinners

We went up Provo Canyon to have foil dinners while Bama and Papa were here. Everyone was able to make it escept Uncle Robbie. The kids had fun playing with Cami's girls, Kate and Andie. These are a few of the pictures we took while waiting for our dinners to cook. They loved running around the trees.
The wind was blowing cotton everywhere. Sara thought it was snow and was trying to catch it. Blake thinks that he is just as big as the girls and tries to do everything that he sees them do. However, he gets annoyed when Kate tries to carry him all the time. He escaped to this tree that he was able to climb around on. I just know that he was thinking, "That will show her that I'm a big boy, not a baby!"

First Oreo

In our family we love Oreos and teach our children how to properly eat them at a young age.

Horsing Around

I love this picture. He just absolutely adores her and loves when she comes to get him up from his nap.
She is so helpful! This is a baby bath that she has designated as her sailboat. Apparently she thought he was struggling to get in, so she decided to help.
Um, yeah. They are sitting in my fridge.
This is our water feature that is by our front door. Blake thinks it is his personal drinking fountain.
I love the cross-eyed look as she sips her melted popsicle.
