Horsing Around

I love this picture. He just absolutely adores her and loves when she comes to get him up from his nap.
She is so helpful! This is a baby bath that she has designated as her sailboat. Apparently she thought he was struggling to get in, so she decided to help.
Um, yeah. They are sitting in my fridge.
This is our water feature that is by our front door. Blake thinks it is his personal drinking fountain.
I love the cross-eyed look as she sips her melted popsicle.

My Little Climber

He was pretty proud of himself when he made it to the top. Then he got down and did it again, and again, and again. That is how I was able to document the process.

Hanging out with Kate and Andie

Pizza on the Patio
Sharing a drink with Kiki

Running through the sprinkleys.
Blake had to try it too. Sara would have none of it.

Swimming in the hot tub

This reminded me of Ariel when she is admiring her legs.

Mean Witch?

Sara detests seatbelts. Everytime we get in the car she tries to negotiate, " I will get in the carseat, but I don't like to get buckled." I let her know that I don't like to wear my seatbelt, but I have to and so does Blake, Daddy, Lexie, Grandma, Kate, etc.

She also loves princess movies, all of which seem to have a "mean witch". Why never a loving mother? When she is handing out parts while pretending Daddy is the King, Sara is the Princess, Blake is the Handsome Prince and I get to be the Mean Witch.

Today we were getting in the car to go to a birthday party and she asked me,
"Mean Witch, can I not get buckled?"

'Parkley Hands

After dinner last night Sara came running back out to the living room after a trip to the bathroom. "Look guys! My hands are clean and 'parkley." She comes up with the greatest one-liners.

Last night we went outside to try to get some pictures for Father's Day cards. Blake was very tired and reluctant to smile. Sara was just had a hard time sitting still, as usual. These were my two best shots of the kids together. I was able to zoom in on a few of Sara that were precious.

I Love You, Kiki!

Crystal is the most amazing aunt! She has always been so good to my kids. They come running to see her whenever she comes to visit. This last year when I have felt like a single mom at times, she has always been willing to come over to help with the kids so that I could maintain my sanity.
I love her so much and know that someday she will be an amazing mother.

Dead Man, Dead Man Come Alive

I guess this is a game normally played on the trampoline. Bryan's cousin and her boyfriend taught Sara, Lexie and Kennadi how to play last August. In our house it has turned into a variation of Hide-and-Go-Seek. Tonight Bryan got home just after I had put Blake down to bed. So, he went and got Blake up. Sara helped Bryan teach Blake how to play. It was so dang cute! Blake laid down on the floor and they walked around him until they went to hide. Then Blake was on his feet as fast as he could and set off to find where Dada and Sara could be hiding. He thinks he is just as big as Sara. This picture was actually taken on Memorial Day.
